SEASON for SERVICE-MILITARY FAMILIES: Churches, businesses and private donors are invited to donate chidrens supplies, diapers and funds for childrens care items throughout 2010 to SDMOM as part of the Military Service month at City Fest. Go to To Donate page above for further details. City Fest participants are sending volunteer teams to perform service to our community. In 2010 San Diego Community is asked to provide children's and infant's supplies to SDMOM for its military families:

One area of service is to Military Families through SDMOM. "One of every six people in San Diego County is related to the military - as active, reserve, retired, dependeent or civilian employee. This is one of the largest military concentrations in the world. Our large military presence makes a positive impact in our communities, but also provides opportunities for service." Donate diapers or funds to purchase them. (300 new babies are born each month at Naval Hospital San Diego.)

Back packs and school supplies needed.

Diaper bags and personal items for mom and baby. New blankets welcome.

Your volunteer teams can assist San Diego Military Outreach Ministries to serve families of deployed and injured service members in more than 13 installations in San Diego County to help with urgent needs, personal caring and household and food assistance.

You can help to collect canned and boxed foods and fill food bags.
